A simple, focused training experience
Here's what your first session will look like — and how training typically unfolds.
60 minutes
Each session runs one full hour, focused and unhurried.
Appointment only
All training is scheduled in advance — no drop-ins.
Private or semi-private
1-on-1, or small groups of 2–5 students. No large group classes.
Beginner friendly
No prior karate experience required. We start from the basics.
Comfortable clothes
Athletic clothing is fine. A gi is not required to begin.
Private training space
A backyard / garage dojo with direct backyard access for visitors.
A typical session

Each session is adapted to the student's level, goals, and recent progress.

No experience required
Every program begins from the foundations. Beginners are welcome and expected.
What to wear
Comfortable athletic clothes are perfectly fine for your first sessions. A gi can come later if you continue.
How the first session works
We talk briefly about your goals, then move through warm-up, basics, and a few simple drills at your pace.
Safety-first instruction
Technique is taught with control. Drills and intensity are introduced gradually as your form develops.
Personalized pacing
Sessions adapt to your level and how you feel that day — never rushed, never forced.
Traditional Shotokan etiquette
Bowing, respect for the training space, and quiet focus are part of the practice from day one.
Private vs semi-private
1-on-1 for the most personal attention, or 2–5 students for friends, family, or colleagues.
Scheduling and payment
Pick a slot through Calendly and pay securely with Stripe. Session scheduling is finalized once payment is completed.
Arrival and location
The exact address and arrival instructions are shared once your booking is confirmed.

Water, a small towel, and an open, focused mindset. Everything else is provided.
